CRS Membership Categories

All Membership dues are collected through the ACR. Please click on the link on the right for more information.

Active Members: $275

  • An active member shall be certified in Radiology or one of its recognized branches by the American Board of Radiology, The American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, or by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada; or engaged in nuclear medicine or ultrasound on a full-time basis and certified by a specialty board which is a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties or its Canadian equivalent.

Members in Physics: $150

  • Physicists who have been certified by the American Board of Radiology may be elected members in physics.

Members in Training: $0

  • Physician or a member in training in physics occupying a residency or fellowship in radiology or oncology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association (or a formal educational program in medical physics).
  • Be part of the Resident and Fellow Section of the Colorado Radiological Society. Members in training may not hold other elected office within the Society. The President and President-elect of the Resident and Fellow Section will have attendance at the annual ACR subsidized by the ACR/CRS.
  • Not be required to pay dues.
  • Have the right to be appointed to committees.
  • When members in training complete training and become members of the ACR, the ACR shall transfer their records to the Society in the state where they will conduct their principal practice. They will be required to join the Society within two years of the date they completed training.  Members in training or members in training in physics who complete their training in July shall not have their dues assessed until the following January.  The educational meeting fee will remain at the  Resident rate from July of completion of training to the next January.

Active Military: $200

  • Radiologists/Oncologists, certified by  the American Board of Radiology and eligible for membership in the American College of Radiology and who are on active military duty.

Emeritus Members: $0

  • Emeritus Members shall be those active members, active military members, or associate members in allied health sciences who have retired from active practice of radiology/oncology because of age or physical disability.

Associate Members in Allied Health Sciences: $150

  • An individual who possesses a doctorate in biology, chemistry, engineering, or the equivalent; a doctor of veterinary medicine degree; or a minimum of a master’s degree in a scientific field with at least four additional years of experience in the field of qualification is eligible for associate membership in allied health sciences of the Society.

Affiliate Members: $150

  • Out-of-state individuals who would qualify for any of the above classifications.
